Hardwood Lumber
Daniels-Olsen's northern hardwood lumber is sourced from quality timber in Wisconsin and Michigan. The short growing season produces wood with more consistent color and texture. This lumber is processed and shipped from our drying facilities in Reedsburg and Mellen, Wisconsin. Well-conditioned and stress-relieved, our lumber is dried with color and manufacturing usabilty in mind.·Our Appalachian hardwood is sourced primarily near our Cadiz, Kentucky facility which produces a more uniform quality product. We also offer a wide selection of nationally and internationally sourced hardwood lumber. With purchasing professionals based in strategic locations, we can offer these products with reliability and can back them just as we would any of our other company produced products.
Hardwood Plywood
Columbia Forest Products is North America's largest manufacturer of hardwood veneer and hardwood plywood. The origins of the company date back to 1957 with its first hardwood plywood plant in Klamath Flass, Oregon. Columbia, an employee owned company, currently manufactures in 20 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Daniels-Olsen and Columbia Plywoods' relationship dates back 21 years. Flexible Veneers
Daniels-Olsen has partnered with FormWood Industries, the leading manufacturer of domestic and exotic wood veneer and veneer related products. Daniels-Olsen stocks No Black Line (NBL), 10mill paperback and pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) veneers. To complement our hardwood plywood panels, Metro Hardwoods stocks three types of FormWood’s Form-Edege™ edgebanding.

Mouldings
Our mouldings are available for immediate shipment out of our Maple Grove distribution yard. Our mouldings are made of the highest quality hardwoods, come with a superior moulded finish and run in lengths heavy to 10' to 14'. All mouldings are packaged in small quantities giving you the flexibility to order as little as 50 lineal feet. Daniels-Olsen moulding program is part of a vertically integrated hardwood lumber company. Westby Hardwood Products produces our cabinet moulding and also manufactures commercial millwork and LaCrosse Brand hardwood flooring.
Thermally Fused Melamine
Daniels-Olsen has the largest stocking inventory of Thermally Fused Melamine products available. Roseburg's Duramine® melamine is Daniels-Olsen product of choice in melamine panels. Because Roseburg manufactures its own particleboard, you can depend on consistency and quality through vertical integration. With over 30 colors, patterns and woodgrains in stock, Metro Hardwoods offers the design you need when you need it.
Particleboard & MDF
The term “Perfect Panel for the Job” is often used by customers to describe Daniels-Olsen Particleboard and its excellent characteristics. It is a multi-layered substrate produced using a blend of western softwoods and other softwood fiber and particles that deliver the most desirable properties of each species. It is sanded to an extremely smooth, tight, and grainless surface on both sides. The core has a controlled distribution pattern of particles that creates the perfect dimensionally stable panel. Daniels-Olsen Particleboard is engineered to the highest quality standards which provides customers with the most desired properties.
